Seeking comicbook artist

I am developing three properties and am in need of a comicbook artist for each.

I have a background in the Videogame industry but am seeking new talent as I'm hoping to recreate the Robert Kirkman level of original comics/ DIY success. I have launched many successful products over the years but obviously am expecting this to be a major challenge.

My three properties are:

1. An action-packed espionage thriller (but with some serious detours that should help to create a new genre).

2. An ultra-realistic take on superheroes with a snazzy twist.

3. A teenager/ manga style epic with a very cool take on kid heroes (not ninja's or trading cards but something equally cool and relevant).

Please visit my site for some information on me: www.myfutprint.com

As I am experienced in some areas and likewise am not in others (first time ever creating a comicbook for actual distribution) then I would love to get honest inquiries.

I'm curious to know if any artists are willing to work for a piece of ownership? Or average page rate you'd require? Work speed (how long to create a 22 page chapter --planning on three to 6 issues for each work)?
Thanks!

I've gotten some notes and am evaluating several options.

Based on some of the responses (not just what is on this forum post but personal messages I've recieved) I'd like to clarify a few points.

1. I AM LOOKING TO PAY---ideally I'd like to find a collaborator and I'm not seeking exhorbinant page rates from artists who are not at the level of a currently working on a successful running comic.

2. I am open to various styles but for each property I'm rather casting it like someone would a film. Action heavy artists that do not draw backgrounds are tough bet for my current projects. Conversely excellent draftsmen who have cartoony character design may fit other projects. So, I'm open but I do have a clear idea of what I need for each project.

3. Sequential storytelling is key. I need submissions that show a flow of action just not a splash page.

4. Character design is also important as merchandising is a key point. All of my concepts are going to exist in various formats (see a game screen from one of my concepts below).

5. Timing is critical. I'd like an artist that can work fast and can hit benchmarks..so while I have no issue with paying---page rates for me are a factor of talent, time and commitment vs. any one element.

6.I am open to co-ownership but it depends as well on page rate and other factors.

If you have any questions--I am definitely open. Likewise, if you are an artist looking for a short story to showcase your work--I'd be happily willing to submit a short story I have that has done very well in small literary circles. I'll be happy to submit for free as I'm as interested in getting my work in new forms as any artists are.

Hope all is well.
