Colorist needed for mini-series by industry professionals
Posted: Sun Mar 31, 2013 1:46 pm
***UPDATE 4/19/13***
The position has been filled. Thank you for your interest.
We are seeking a colorist for our creator-owned miniseries. For now, only five pages need to be colored to enhance our pitch package. Interested publishers have asked for colored pages before making a determination about the project. The right colorist can provide the crucial element we need to move the pitch forward.
The miniseries is a 4 issue supernatural Spaghetti Western with ongoing story arcs for future releases. The stories are written by Christopher A. Taylor (Dark Horse’s Creepy and Eerie-- http://www.darkhorse.com/Comics/17-266/Creepy-6, http://www.darkhorse.com/Comics/20-307/Eerie-Comics-1), with art by Doug Stambaugh (AKA Dug Nation-- http://dugnation.deviantart.com), letters by Sherard Jackson (http://locatesherard.weebly.com), and will feature painted covers by renowned artist Jason Shawn Alexander (http://www.jasonshawnalexander.com/jaso ... /home.html).
The series is greatly influenced by the Westerns of Sergio Leone and Hammer Horror. The color palette for this project should emulate the Technicolor hues present in both genres.
If you feel you are the right colorist for the job, or need further information, please feel free to contact me for more details.
Cheers!
