Myself and another writer are looking for an artist who would like to help build our universe.
We are fairly new to Comic book writing, but really want to give it a try. We can 't pay anything right now, but if it takes off the way we hope, money will be involved. We''re also planning to tell our stories through a motion comic like the link below...

It's a tough world out there for writers. The demand for artists is so great these days that many of the best artists are charging page-rates, so it's very hard for up and coming writers to get their heads in the door without payment. For one thing it REALLY helps to get your idea out there. Pitch your comic here for your artists to see and you have a HUGE advantage. Just saying that you're offering "COMPLEX" story is not really enough. You don't have to give everything away, but giving us a sample of your work through sharing at least some of the idea makes things a lot easier. You may be afraid that someone will steal your idea, but the way I think on it is that it's not the idea you really need, it's the skill to bring it alive. And since no one is probably going to kidnap you and force you to write script I think that you'll be fine. A fine alternative is to save up the money to pay an artist, but I understand that you may just be testing the waters and be unwilling to spend money right now. Do note that a lot of free artists out there do drop out before the project is done, so it may be frustrating working that route. Be patient though and you'll do fine.
