The goal of Rocketblast is to create a platform for indie comic creators to create comics at a professional level. The pay is dependent on the sales, as Rocketblast does not own your intellectual properties.

I plan to market Rocketblast comics by advertising in newspapers around the country, by attending cons, by contacting various media, online advertisement, and at local comic shops. Huge promotional pushes will be made closest to the writer and artists' home.

After my investment has been returned on each comic, the creative team will earn 90% of all profit. That percentage may change If I own creative rights to the characters (only characters or stories I personally create. Your stories are yours.)

The universe is set up in two sections: cannon and non-canon. All canon stories will be taking place in the same universe, much like the DC and Marvel universes, and more cohesive than Image. Not all stories will be directly connected, but a story about a nuclear blast in India may appear as a headline to a newspaper in someone else's story. I believe this gives a cohesive feel to the world. Seeing newspaper headlines of what is going on in other comic titles not only gives a platform to create crossovers, it may also encourage readers to buy the other comics from Rocketblast.

We need the following positions filled ASAP!

PandaLand: Ron Panda is a 20 year old man who wins $250 trillion lottery. He uses the money to create his own micro nation, PandaLand. After building his nation and wasting a good deal of his money, he has an exoskeleton built and becomes an international vigilante. (Writer.)

Marlo: Marlo is a story about a grocery boy who is shot while interrupting a robbery. He is then transported to the Elementals, four spiritual beings who represent primal elements: fire, earth, water, air. They tell him about the new elements, fear, anger, hate, and jealousy. These elements feed off and grow stronger by the more faith humans up in them. They've grown so strong they can physically manifest themselves in the recently deceased. The Elementals give him superpowers to combat them. (Writer+Artist)

Jag: Jake Hall was the lone survivor of a plane crash over the Amazon when he was five years old. A family of Jaguars raised him until he was 17, when he was rescued by Paul Walker, a famous explorer. Paul takes care of Jake and teaches him to be human, but when Paul is kid apped Jake must take what the Jaguars taught him and spring into action as Jag, a vigilante. (Writer+artist.)

Debitum: Debitum is set in the dwarf galaxy Sagittarius. Sagittarius is comprised of twelve planets, each watched over by a paladin. The people of these planets don't know they are being controlled by "watchers" who run the planets. Eventually, one of the paladins takes invades a planet. Credit to Austin Mulka. (Artist)

American Viking: Is about Leif Erikson, the man who really discover North America. This is about his voyage to Canada and his war with the natives there. (Artist)

Feel free to make your own submissions.
