Seeking talented Editor for Sci Fi series. (PAID)

Need someone to edit and also format script for new Sci Fi series Debitum. Someone with a degree in English preferred. Work will be paid if it is up to my expectations. Even if your work is mediocre, I may give you .25 cents a page and your name will be listed in credits.

If work is great, you could become a co-writer and be paid a percentage by distribution company. (Contract will have to be signed)

If you do not know the difference between:

Who/Whom
Effect/Affect
Independent/Subordinate clauses
Commas/no commas (prepositional phrases conjunctions etc.)

Then this job is not for you.

As an added bonus, if you are familiar with:
Space related terminology.
Sci Fi and theoretical physics related terminology.
Limited working proficiency with Latin or Greek.

Then this job is definitely for you. However, not necessarily required for editing.

I once studied under an editor who stated that there are two main types of editors. There are regular editors who focus on story elements and there are those who specialize in grammar and structure. I'm not an expert on grammar, but I've had plenty of experience working on amateur comics of my own creation on a scriptwriting basis and am working towards an English degree. In my experience though unconventional structure can be as useful as grammar rules, some of the greatest poets and writers have made their mark using creative structure. If what you need most is a copyeditor (one who specializes in grammar) you should say so.

You should also ask for a specialist in "hard" sci-fi if you need a specialist in physics and ect. I would actually recommend that instead of looking for a story specialist, copyeditor, and a sci-fi guru all in one you may want to seek three people, each a specialist in one of these areas.
