"What price would you be willing to pay for freedom?" Jean Emmanuel is a rich man, he can have whatever his heart desires, which changes from one minute to the next. Yet, he finds himself constantly searching for something new, much to the annoyance of his wife, Bernice. Whilst taking part in one of his regular "games" of one-upmanship with rival Douglas Fairbanks, he lays eyes upon a most wondrous discovery: A Mermaid.
Could this divine creature give him the answers he's been searching for? And is he willing to accept the cost?
