Looking for Artist

Hello, my name is Brandon. I am a freshman in college who is looking to get my creative ideas onto comic pages. I have written published poems for my local University and started my college education early (I was in Post Secondary). My dream is to become a comic writer for either DC or Marvel, but first I need to have a portfolio for work I have done in the past. I am willing to pay up to $20 (due to me being in college) and I want to work with some imaginative people. Some of my scripts are already done (or needed proof read), with many of my ideas still in my head.
My ideas are as follow:
1) Moon Hunter: Moon Hunter is a 23 year old male named Michel Akakios with a difficult past. His mother died in a car accident and was killed by the god Ares. Due to the car crash, Michel broke both of his legs and he was deemed never to walk again. Michel’s father was a drunk who abused him both physically and mentally.
Unknown to Michel, he is actually the son of the Greek goddess Artemis. Artemis, the Greek goddess of the Hunt, is a virgin goddess. She desperately wanted a son. The goddess swore to three other virgin goddesses that they would never lay with another man. Keeping up with her promise, she created a son from mist. This baby was only a body, no soul occupied it. She went to her brother Apollo and begged for an unused soul. Apollo advised against creating a child (due to the inevitable war the baby would cause), but reluctantly agreed to grant his sisters wish. He gave the baby life and Artemis went into hiding because of her fear towards the 12 Olympians.
Hades eventually realized that the hunt for food had stopped, so he sought out his niece and the new baby. He found Artemis hiding in a cave, and demanded to see the baby. He saw that if she gave up the baby, mankind would go into an eternal war. Hades receives his powers from the death of tortured souls, so he devilishly tricked Artemis into giving her child up. He told Artemis that he ought to give the baby his blessing, but the wise goddess did not comply. She snagged the baby and ran but Hades summoned; Hera, Zeus, and Poseidon. Trapping her, the gods demanded she give up the baby but realized that she would not. Hera saw Artemis’s love for the child and gave her an offer. She could give up the child and give it to a human family, were it would grow up and become a protector on Earth. She told Artemis that she could never touch her baby again. Her other offer was that Hera would kill the baby, and Artemis would never have the pain of not touching her son. In a last attempt, Artemis gave the baby up. He would eventually grow up and have the power to show the earth compassion. Hades had succeeded in his part, now it was up to the fates.
Michel is a kind spirited man who wants to help improve the world. If tempted, he can become angry (especially if it is pointed towards his loved ones).
Powers (Moon Hunter):
o Flight (see magic)
o Super strength (with all energy can lift a city)
o Invulnerability (bruises from bullets, can withstand large amounts of pressure and weight)
o Enhanced speed (once learned by Artemis)
o Enhanced combat (same as above)
o Magic: white like mist (this is why he is called Moon Hunter) (can create constructs (examples: swords, shields etc.))
o Magic also allows Moon Hunter to steal powers from others for short periods of time.
 -This gives Moon Hunter there life force (can heal himself)
 -If magic take all life force he permanently gains power and kills victim
- His powers become increasingly stronger in the presence of the moon
Weakness:
- High levels of magic
- Fire (breaks his connection to his life force)
2) Marvel Woman: Marvel Woman is a 28 year old female named Lemora Kane who was born and raised on the planet Imperosia (meaning Power of the Gods). She was born as a princess and was trained to be both a fighter and a leader by her mother (Queen Rha) and the royal guard (T’lan Mei’r). When War of the Immortals broke out, 13 year old Lemora and her older sister Rav’en was ushered out of the Capitol and was raised by T’lan. While in hiding, the Queen was murdered and the King was exiled due to the corrupted Councils demand.
Lemora grew up and eventually joined the resistance while her sister joined the Council. Rav’en was welcomed with opened arms by the worlds new leader, Hadem’ta. Lemora is a strong spirited. She is willing to sacrifice a person’s life for the better of mankind. Lemora is a good leader, and is trained to hide her emotions. She fears that one day, darkness will consume the galaxy. Lemora came to Earth to warn humans of the impending threat that is known as M.O.T.H.E.R. (an advanced technology created by Hadem’ta, which its sole purpose is to conquer the galaxy).
Powers (Marvel Woman):
o Flight
o Super strength (can prevent to “galaxies” from colliding)
o Invulnerability (similar to that of Super Girl)
o Super speed (faster than sound, slower than light)
o Trained in the art of war/combat(similar to that of Wonder Woman)
o Solar Energy projection
o Atomic absorption and projection
- Heat and cold alike
Weakness:
- Energy Overload
- Sun deprivation
- Iridium
Powers (Rav’en):
• Flight
• Super strength (can prevent worlds from colliding)
• Super speed (similar to that of Flash)
• Solar energy projection
• Energy manipulation
• Energy Assimilation (able to absorb matter into pure energy)
• Entity Aura (Able to turn herself into solar being)
o Weakness:
 Absence of sun
3) Justice: Justice is a 32 year old male named Nathanial Blue who was born in South Africa and raised in the United States by his mother, Tera Blue. He was born as an army brat and was trained to be militaristic. His father was an African ambassador who fell in love with Tera when she was on duty. She was protecting him from a highly skilled group of assassins. They had a child and shortly after, the ambassador went missing. Tera was then found and killed by the same league of assassins who sought Nathanial’s father.
Nathanial was then raised by the President, who calls Nathanial his most prized possession. Nathanial grew up and became a spy for his father. He is a strong willed person, who has an eye for detail. Nathanial has a high IQ.
Powers:
o Strategist
o Marksman
o Expert martial arts fight
-kick boxing
-jujitsu
o Good with various sorts of weapons
-guns
-blades
Weakness:
- Susceptible to same weaknesses as normal humans
- Fear of the Unknown
4) Cerebra: Cerebra is a 25 year old female named Hoshi Chi who was born and raised in Japan. She was raised in a samurai cult named Ryuumi (night of the dragon). Her master, Xui-Ling, took to training her due to her untamed telepathic abilities. Hoshi’s parents were Alphas who died at the hands of her own masters hand maiden, Tomoe Taira (Black Mamba). Xui-Ling had an agenda for Hoshi, she would become his wife once he ruled the world.
He also had abilities, he could teleport and become metal, which he used as weapons. Xui-Ling believed that Alphas had the right to rule the world, and they were superior to humans. After learning of how her parents truly died, Hoshi left, and abandoned the Ryuumi. She learned that Xui-Ling and Black Mamba were seeking the Blade of Gozen, a ceremonial blade believed to have the powers of the universe. Hoshi goes on an expedition to find the blade and destroy it. On her journey, Hoshi runs into a white female, and an African male who calls themselves Adam and Eve. (More one there story if interested.) They want to help her, but on their own terms. Adam and Eve trap her, and call Xui-Ling to their aid. He comes and finds Hoshi caged, and takes her to the cave of Cerebro (a telepathic dragon who holds the key to the blade).
Xui-Ling orders Black Mamba to kill the two lovers and take their blood. With the blood, Black Mamba and Xui-Ling open the cave to let the dragon out. Xui-Ling order Hoshi to kill the dragon, or she dies by his hands. Hoshi kills the dragon but a telepathic burst increases her powers. She learns of Xui-Ling’s true nature: he is a disciple of Kagu-tsuchi (god of fire). Hoshi attacks Xui-Ling and Black Mamba and overpowers them. Unlike Xui-Ling, Hoshi swore not to kill him or Tomoe. Hoshi finds the sword and sends it to Hell (due to her inability to destroy it). She leaves the cave and swears to avenge the death of her parents and to become a protector of mankind, known as Cerebra. Adam and Eve wake up in fire and find a beautiful woman (Persephone) in a long Greek dress. She tells them that they are hers.
Powers (Cerebra):
o Psychic Blade Construction
o Dream Manipulation
o Illusion Manipulation
o Mental Manipulation
o Psionic Inundation (mental overload)
o Telepathy
o Combat Proficiency
5) The Protectors: A group of superheroes ban together to save the Earth from inevitable doom. This group consists of; Moon Hunter, Cerebra, Justice, Marvel Woman, Bullseye, Shadow Beast, Trinity, and Thunderer
