Dark Commandos is an action/adventure comic about a team of vampires working for the American government. It's based on the webseries from a number of years ago located at http://www.darkcommandos.com.
We're planning on at least three issues (24 pages each) of a Dark Commandos comic and will consider a number of styles, though NOT Anime/Manga. Payment would be $20 per page for pencils and inks, $30 per page for pencils/inks/colors. Payment via PayPal would be made for batches of 5 pages at a time, 1/3 payment on approval of pencils, 1/3 on approval of inks and 1/3 on approval of colors.
Apologies in advance for the rate, but at this time this is purely independent so there isn't cash flow to pull from. If successful, additional funds will be paid to artist.
Prior to committing, we would ask any artist that we contact to work up even a rough pencil sketch to show us how they would draw the characters just to ensure that we're in agreement on the look.
