Writer looking to get my work out there

I'm a talented writer looking for another writer to collaborate with or better yet an artist. I'm a working college student going to school for videogame storytelling. I took a particular class and realized I wanted to tell a story in the comic medium, the class has translated really well. I'm a huge fan of this industry and I've had a couple scripts that have been passed to artists and it just hasn't panned out like I wanted it to. I have sketches for three original characters I want to use and right now I'm trying to come up with a good story to put them in. As I mentioned before, I am a working student but I can of course afford to pay an artist if the rate is reasonable. I have much more details upon request.
