Don't worry, offering 10$ a page is a standard rate around here! Writers are lucky to get that much! And pro writers generally go for around that rate so if you do offer that you should get a good selection. Truthfully writers aren't in demand right now and the writers who know what they're doing typically know that, and in fact many of them are probably simply looking for a job in general. Mostly writers around here work for a portion of the proceeds or even just for free because of how hard it is to work with an artist in general, so offering 10$ a page will help attract the cream of the crop.
