Looking for Sci Fi Artist

Post by danteblythe »

To put it clearly, I need a sci fi artist to be best friends with. I have a huge idea for a cool sci fi comic, but I am just a writer. If anyone wants to become a co-creater with my comic and be my artist, I greatly appreciate it. My writing and your artwork can be sent to a major comic company. With an artist I feel that the comic will be amazing.

(Me and an artist will be famous one day)
Please be serious, and thanks.

Check this thread out on how to make a looking for artist post. What you're presenting here is just "I want help" for the most part, we need to hear a full fledged post telling "Everything" you can and more about your project. Also do specify whether the gig is paying or not. Also "Big" projects are very cumbersome. Focus on building a relationship with an artist first. Do something short, like maybe a prologue or test piece, and then move forward. Also "Best friends"? To be honest though you can develop such a relationship with a collaborator (And I know I have) asking for friendship as a requirement for collaboration is a little, well, like asking a group of random strangers for friendship. If you find an artist you get mutual respect with than maybe friendship will form but you'll find that what you're after is a working relationship primarily. If a friendship forms that's great but it's not really something you can ask for. Either it happens or it doesn't. Please be slightly more professional in your post next time and definitely elaborate on what this "big idea" is else you will get little to no interest.

Sincerely,
Ruyei
