Hi all,
I'm a Writer who has been published and has self-published and I'm looking for an Artist to put together a pitch to be shopped around to companies large and small.
Obviously, being the visual part, the Artist would have 50% co-ownership of the property. I'll let the Artist in on the concept with as much detail as I can provide and if he/she feels it's something they'd like to draw then we can talk.
I will say upfront that the 5-7 pages of art needed for the pitch is an unpaid job UNTIL the book has been picked up. Once picked up, the Artist will be paid for the job and those details will be given out via personal e-mails.
If you can ink your own stuff and keep a tight schedule then so much the better otherwise I am looking for both a penciler and an inker who can keep a schedule.
All inquiries can be sent to Mark at markstanislawski@sbcglobal.net
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Markus, as you can read in this topic http://www.zwol.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... c05f3720a3, your search would profit if you could say more about your story, the style you are looking for, and whether people can find other samples of your work online. Good luck!

Hi guys and gals,
I did find an artist but he had to bow out due to personal commitments so I'm on the hunt again! With Oni Press opening submissions in May I'd like to have some art to go with my story.
I was originally looking for a scratchy, Guy Davis-like style because I think it would fit the story very well but I can work with a more traditional style as well. I will say that you should be very good at drawing the human form as we will come across quite a bit of ... people.
I will send the first issue script to all interested artists to see if it's something they are interested in drawing.
I will sum up the supernatural story in this way: Don Medic has just died but instead of going to Heaven, like he expected, he finds that he is just a ghost that stays earthbound...and he's not alone.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!
