Writer looking for an artist

Hello. I'm a writer looking for an artist. I can't pay right now, but in the future don't mind paying once we get this started. For now, it's going to have to work for free, sorry. The good news is I'll try to help the drawing too. You'll do the final drawings but I'll draw some to give you an idea on what I need.

Okay, so my story is about action/adventure, mainly action. I would like to work on other genres later on and not be limited, but for our first project it's going to be on action.

If you watched the movie Gattaca, and watch Air Gear, it's based on that. It's Gattaca, Air Gear, and DDR combine.

So my story is about a kid name Jason. He is born with a rare disease call mahlahgent. This disease makes him weak and sick. The disease will kill him when he's 14. It takes place in a world where dancing and DDR rules. And the DDR World Championship Tournament is coming up. And Jason is entering the tournament.

Now who's with me to take our dreams to the stars above? Beyond!

If you hold back the core points of your story from us here you have yourself a problem. It takes enough time and effort to contact you that most artists here will simply judge you by what you have in your post. If you have only vague plans due to trying to keep your work a secret from the public you have to understand that we are creators. We have our own stuff to work on, and besides only you can fully realize your comic in the way you want it realized. If you are too vague regardless of the reason you will have difficulty attracting an artist. Not that you should dump fifty pages of research notes here, but you should show us a picture of ALL of your fully realized story in a short yet detailed way. Again, this is your pitch here and now to us. If we don't like your pitch due to vagueness we're not going to ask for more. The artist is going to want to know what he or she is getting into before contacting you.

You got nice drawings but mine was going to be anime. I'm doing webcomic first because it's easier for 2 partners to control. So the drawings will be manga. The drawings I want for this story is Air Gear. Now I know he's a professional artist and I don't expect my partner to draw that good, but that's the art I'm going for. But of course it's going to be a lot simplier as Air Gear does have more details.

I don't mind you drawing simplify to make it easier for you. And the good news is that I'll draw too to help you visualize and see what I want, but I can't draw that well so you'll do the final drawing. So I'll be doing more work than you, I'll doing the writing and a lot of the drawings and you do the final drawings. Are you ok with drawing anime/manga way? If you are and want to be partners, I'll pm you more about the plot. I just don't want to spoil it.

Sorry I can't pay, I got into a car crash and can't work to make money so I'm spending all my time on this webcomic. But once I'm able to work again, and pay for the website and copyrights to it, I'll start paying you. Might take 1 or 2 years. Most likely 1 year when we're going to get this started, so we'll just work on the chapters. So are you in?
