Cool list. But is Bongo actually open to submissions?

I searched through the sites of the top names and left out those that weren't taking submissions (Marvel, DC/Vertigo). There wasn't anywhere on Bongos site stating they weren't taking submissions so I put their contact us page. I'll most likely send them an email and ask.

Great list! Here's an additional one I found, that has a few other things added on (such as comic friendly talent agents and book publishers).

I recently stumbled upon a newer company that's looking for submissions. They're called Insane Comics. Haven't dealt with them but here's there submission requirement info...

May be worth adding to the list:

Also, Alterna Comics is always looking for projects...

and AAM Markosia...

215 Ink is also open to submissions...

As is the recently re-launched Caliber Comics...

Most of these publishers want full art teams assembled and pitch pages done before actual pitching, which seems to be a fairly standard practice when it comes to comics publishers. Also, I haven't dealt with any of these companies personally, only know they have these links...

Figured all of them are worth adding to the list as possible places to send your pitches in too.

So has anyone successfully submitted their work to publishing houses? If so, how do you get paid? And is it worth it?
