A noob contemplating on what to do (no money)

I hope this post doesn't come out being too long. Skip to summary if you need to.
Anyway, I have had this story in my head for a couple of years, but about six months ago, I decided that I really wanted to do something with it. When I first thought of it years ago, it was childish and was originally written as a tv show (I was about 11 or 12 at the time).
Now I have developed a lot more serious version of the story and wrote out some of the chapters into a book and a couple of pictures to go along with it. I didn't have to much trouble drawing the pictures, but I never had any experience with editing, and it was taking a while to edit using Pencil 2d (Proof that I know nothing about editing). I also just have trouble drawing things like, a car, spaceship, gun, and other machines compared to people and clothes. I kept writing, but didn't want to waste my time on something that would eventually turn out to be something dry and unoriginal, so I then thought about ways to get my idea noticed.
I eventually thought that webcomics would be a cool to look for help since my story does have action in it. I soon found this website, and it seems that most people here are trustworthy and willing to help. I don't know much about this website, and would really appreciate someone with experience here to help me and be like a co-writer. I would also like someone to draw and edit the comic. I didn't see many people in other threads just post their synopsis, but I don't know how else to get people interested in working with me unless I do so.
Summary:
If you don't want to help, then you can still help me. I want to know if I should do zwol or even websomics to get my story out. And if not, what route should I be taking.
I have a clear vision on what my story should be and can explain it. I wanted to show someone some of the things I have done so I can decide whether or not to continue it. If enough people comment wanting to read a brief synopsis or look at a picture, I guess I could do that. Time is scarce, and it seems like it would take a while for me to draw, learn how to edit, and edit alone. I could also use a co-writer to help me out.
