How common is this art style in western comics, and do you think I'd have a reasonable chance of getting hired to draw/paint in it?

The picture is interesting, the style is fine, but there's not enough in it to show a publisher or collaborator if you could handle a cover or other illustrations. Do samples that show faces, and that show situations, not just a pose. Good luck.
