Artist wanted for 30 page horror collaboration

I’m looking for an artist to collaborate with on a 30 page horror comic which is currently going by the name of ‘Where is Skinny Jack?’. The story centres on a writer trying to track down the whereabouts of the infamous serial killer ‘Skinny Jack’. Told through a series of flashbacks, we learn about the cruel twist of fate and horrific upbringing that led him to become the monster who butchered over 40 people and the mother who could see no wrong in her little boy…

Initially, I am looking for an artist to produce 5-6 pages for a pitch package which we can shop around to publishers. I’m not too fussy about what style the art is but due to the nature of the story I need someone who can handle emotion and expression. With little real ‘action’ in the story, it’s important that the artist can make the visuals interesting.

If the pitch is picked up and the book is produced we would split any ownership/rights/shares/profit 50/50.

If the pitch is rejected by all, then the commitment would be over and Skinny Jack can go back in the drawer.

So, just to be clear, there is absolutely NO MONEY UP FRONT! In all likelihood there will be very little money at the end of it but I’m hoping there is someone out there who is interested enough in the concept to learn a little bit more.
