My name is Jojo King. I'm a published comic book artist and I am looking for an artist to work on a 10 page horror short with a humorous twist. Think Tales From the Crypt back in the EC days. This can be paid, but I must warn up front that my budget is $100. I know that isn't much, but there are some other incentives I can bring to the table.
I have two miniseries published and two shorts appearing in an upcoming anthology. I know how to network and talk with publishers and already have connections. I can promise you this short will be a published credit for you because at the absolute worst, this short will be an extra bonus added to the end of one of my comic book miniseries (SinEater or AntiChris). Both of these are published in print as well. So yes, if we do not make it into any anthologies, your work will still get into the hands of readers and you will have a published credit. Just having this project sit on a shelf is not an option
I am easy to work with, write in a clear and easy to read script format, and have no deadlines for you to meet. Therefore, if you are working on something else, this could be a little side thing you do to make some cash and get that portfoilio busting with cool artwork. If this is your first comic, I still welcome you to submit!
I will most likely pay on a page by page basis. In simple terms, it's better to do it this way so neither of us get boned. I am open to hearing other suggestions how to go about this process though.

Follows a SWAT team as they raid a house known to belong to a notorious serial killer preying on children. What the team find is a house of horrors beyond their imagination!
