Writer seeking Artist for Comic Pitch - Paid

Hi all.
My name's Gavin McCallion. I'm a twenty-seven-year-old writer from Glasgow, Scotland.
I'm looking for an artist to collaborate with on my comic book - 'Alan Eats People'. Our arrangement would begin with some sample pages - of which you'd be paid - and develop into a steady working relationship with a publisher, pending publication.
Here's the pitch - what you'd be drawing
To-do list:
As mentioned, my comic is called 'Alan Eats People'.
It's, more-or-less, about a kid called Alan, who eats people.
More specifically, Alan is a seventeen-year-old, anxiety-ridden mess; developing OCD and fighting the usual teen angsts of girls, bullies and exam stress. On top of that, he can't seem to stop craving human flesh. Alan only wants to pass his exams, but when the bodies start to pile up, the breadcrumbs start to point towards him - and the people following those crumbs are unpleasant to say the least. Exam-stress, blood-lust, black-mailing pensioners, giant angry policemen and the local Grim Reaper make up a rogue gallery of which Alan is positive he can't best.
It's funny and dramatic with sporadic bouts of violence and gore.
Sound like you're kind of thing?
Stylistically, I'm pretty wide-open - but I want it to look like a comic book. Hyper-realism isn't really my thing.
The first issue is fully written, the full story is planned, the first arc is planned in detail . I'm ready to go when you are.
What you don't need
Experience - I'm fairly new to the business myself, but I want to change that. I've only written on one book myself, so I'm not looking for a wealth of experience from you.
Time-limitations - I'm not too fussed about how fast or slow you work, I just want quality stuff and to be kept updated on how its coming. If we're accepted for publication, that would likely change.
What you do need
First of all - I need you to be good. I need a quality artist and you should definitely own it. Tell me how great you are!
Comic Love - I need you to know your way about a comic book. I'm not looking for an artist looking to try their hand at something different. Someone that can understand and follow a comic script and know the terminology. Someone that loves comics.
Professionalism - I know I don't need experience, but that doesn't mean you can't be a professional. Dress for the job you want, not the job you have!
Vision - Obviously you wouldn't be an artist without a great imagination. I'm not looking to do all the work for you - take a panel guide or brief character description and go nuts.
Me and you - the plan
Once we're paired, what I'd be looking to do is send over the full first issue with character descriptions for your review.
If you don't like my stuff, let me know and we cut ties. No harm.
Next up, we mock together some concept art for characters. After that, pick your favourite five pages from my script and go nuts.
Once I've got those pages, and am happy with them, I'll pay you. I'd be looking in the region of £20-£30 a page ($30-$40). You won't be rolling in cash, by any means, but neither am I!
After that, I'll put work into getting people to listen to us. I've got two indies in mind over here - but there's always Image. Let's not be scared by the big companies.
If I can get someone to notice our work, I'll be back in touch about taking it further. If not, then we're all settled up - but I'm not keen on that option.
That's my spiel - if you're interested then email me: itsgavinwriting@gmail.com. Looking for some samples of work to get us started. A link to a gallery is absolutely fine - I'll be back in touch if I'm interested.
I hope to hear from you.
Gavin.
