Hello everyone,

I am a new writer to comics and I am currently searching for an artist to collaborate for an anthology submission. The anthology is called Bones of the Coast and it will be comprised of horror stories set in the Pacific Northwest. And for those who are wondering, I am a British Columbian based writer so we will qualify to submit to the anthology.

My story is set on a lake and features creepy Native Canadian ghosts.

I am in need of an artist who can become attached to the pitch. My script is only 7 pages long. Sample art for the comic does not need to be complete in order to pitch but the anthology's editors do want sequential art examples from any artist who applies. So if you are chosen for this project, I will need a gallery link to provide for the submission.

Again, I'm looking for an artist with an affinity for the creepy and who likes to draw moody and scary stuff.

I am also looking for a Colorist to come aboard this project as well. If you are an artist who is also a colorist, that would be ideal, but I am open to looking at colorist samples as well. I'm looking for black and white or grayscale coloring for this particular story.

Unfortunately, I do not have much in the way of a budget to pay the artist/colorist. I may be able to pay a little but I cannot guarantee payment at this time. E-mail or PM me with your prices when sending your art examples to me.

This may be a good opportunity for new artist looking to build on his or her portfolio, like I am. If accepted, the comic will need to be drawn for a Spring 2016 release. If not accepted, I will still be interested in making the comic with the hopes of either self publishing or submitting the comic to other anthologies.

Also, even if I don't pick you for this project, I do have a couple of projects in the works (shorts, mostly), that I may ask to collaborate on... so if you're unsure if you should send some examples my do, please do so! I'm new to this so any and all interested artists are welcome.

My e-mail is biohazard.quantum@gmail.com
Feel free to PM me on the boards.
If you have google hangouts, add me, that'll be the best way to get a convo going with me.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing your awesome art!
