Short Story Collaboration, Looking for an Artist!

Post by DAFLIGaming »

Synopsis: The short story is about a boy who continues to see a girl sitting by a tree in the afternoons. Eventually he decides to go up to her and find out what she is doing. He finds out she doesn’t just sit out there to enjoy the nature of the forest, but to get away from the things happening at her house. Her parents are cheating on each other and arguing while neglecting her growth. The little girl knows what is going on, and knows she is going to have to pick one of her parents and is sad. While going throw this she has no one to talk to so the wanderer through the forest makes her feel better by having someone who will listen to her.

Hey artist who are looking at this, this will be an unpaid project, and I completely understand for those that don't want to do it because of that, but for those that have some time on their hands and want to collaborate to make a touching story that can help people who read it who are going through similar situations, then just leave your email/and or skype to further talking. This comic is exactly 65 Panels and needs to be done in Tapastic Long Format, if you don't want to leave your email here.

Email me about collaborating here, I can't wait to here from some of you.

Sounds like you have worthy subject matter and, should you keep the length short enough, you could very well have an artist. However something to keep in mind, it's a lot easier to get an artist when you have actual script written. In your case since it's a short comic with a concrete end actually showing about half the script will help, if not all of it if you're ballsy. Artists have to show their art before they are even considered for a project, and it's true that although the same standard doesn't seem to apply to writers it does in the sense that writers without some way to prove their skills get a lot less interest. So if you can't get anyone (or anyone you like) well, there's an alternative.

Best of luck,
Sincerely,
Ruyei
