Actually when I liked it on StumbleUpon I "discovered" it. So there are like 4 pages of your comic on StumbleUpon now and I hope folks come and check it out. :)

Yup, I'm an american. Born and raised in NYC. I just watched a lot of brit tv shows like "Eastenders" and Masterpiece Theatre", particularly the mysteries. Loved the Helen Mirren series.

And again, the artwork is by Monique MacNaughton.

I thought maybe you weren't from the UK, I've been enjoying reading your comic but occasionally there are phrases that jar... they're a bit funny.

Taking A piss means to have a pee, but "taking THE piss" means to make fun of or ridicule someone.

I hope you realise that I'm not complaining, I really like your comic. I'm sure my attempts at American characters' dialogue suffer in a similar way. I recently wrote a story set in New York in 1887 and that was very hard getting the phrasing from contemporary novels.
