PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Post by BoydDesign »

PLEASE DO NOT POST HERE if you are not going to reveal whether or not the gig is a paying gig or not.

Some of us are professional artists and are looking for work.

I know that may sound snotty, but really, please remember that courtesy is a respect issue and will get you much better results.

Many Thanks,

Mark Boyd

I agree, ZWOL should maybe post a sticky or something about this. A lot of other forums have a tag method where you state whether your gig is paid or not. I'm suprised they don't have that kind of system here.

There is also the opposite. I've posted on here for example that my gig is not paying and yet I get one or two people who are looking to be paid. Point being people make mistakes on both sides. However, I may agree with you that the first time writers that come in here are often unaware that paying artists is a prevalent thing here (I know I didn't know that). Maybe there should be some sort of "Read here" thing talking about forum etiquette when posting looking for posts.
