Artist Help

Post by Iceclaw »

Hey amateur writer here. I finally finished my first script after getting some great advice from someone else on this board. Now I want to ask that if any artists on here have the free time if they could take a look at the script. I am not asking you to draw anything I just want to know if hypothetically you could work with it. Again I am not asking for any art just an artist viewpoint on the script. I thank anyone who responds for their time!

If you have the spare time email me here:

Just a tip, and this bears no disrespect from artists, but believe it or not artists are not the experts on scripts storywise. If you want to tips on how to make things more readable and to look better from a layout standpoint and artist could be your man or woman...buuuuut. It is a common fact that artists don't know how to write or don't have a good writer's sense of what's good or bad. It doesn't mean that you won't find one (And I have found them!) but artists are best at with the art. I recommend opening your search to writers and editors with experience. They can give you good pointers on your script and will have a better eye for story in my personal experience. Also there are a lot more writers and editors on here than artists! Thus making help more likely.

Best of luck man,
Sincerely,
Ruyei
