Mysteries of the Arcana seeking new artist

Post by JGray »

Mysteries of the Arcana is an established webcomic that has been running for close to three years and 250 pages. It has a moderately sized audience. The comic is about Theresa and Chrystalline, two young women who have adventures traveling through a tarot inspired multi-verse.

The comic has hit a snag with artists this year. The original artist had to leave due to issues with his everyday life. The second artist was only engaged for a limited time and her replacement, unfortunately, found herself unable to continue. I'm looking for someone to finish the current storyline and potentially continue onto the next.

The comic updates twice a week and I'll need an artist who can make the update schedule. There are between 20 and 30 pages left in this storyline.

This is a paying gig. $10 a page. I wish it could be more but the comic does have a limited budget.

You can read the archives at http://mysteriesofthearcana.com. I am asking any interested artist to prepare an audition page by picking a page from the archive and redoing it in their own style. Keep the dialogue and the flow of action but feel free to change other details.

If you are interested or need more information please feel free to contact me at mysteriesofthearcana (at) gmail (dot) com.

Thank you.

Mysteries of the Arcana updates twice a week. So, two pages per week.

If you are interested, I am asking for an audition by the artist picking a page from the archive and redoing it in their own style. Keep the dialogue and the flow of action but feel free to change other details.

You can contact me for more information or with the audition page at mysteriesofthearcana (at) gmail (dot) com.
