We are a team of writers with a unique and involved script who are looking for an artist who wants to attach themselves to a project in order to bolster portfolios and gain valuable exposure. Our comic is a unique mix of history, mythology, and the modern era. It’s a detailed plot requiring inspired imagery. He is a panel giving a brief description of the novel’s themes:
Since their creation, man has told stories and tales attempting to understand its humble beginnings. Our ancestors etched fables on cave walls, told stories around fires, and worshipped distant beings greater than ourselves. Modern man has all but abandoned the old ways. He has dominated the creatures he once lived beside. He has pushed his world to the brink of destruction. He knowingly destroys himself. There are none greater than us. Man’s hubris may be infinite but he is not so naïve. Mankind no longer ponders the beginning like our foolish fathers and brothers. No he begins to ponder something far more real. He looks to the end of days and does not ask if the end will come, but when?
If only we’d listened to our fathers. If only we’d kept mother Earth dear to us. If only we weren’t so arrogant. We might have known that in our father’s rambles was the answer. The time when the strength of man would be weighed against the will of a god, when brotherhood would meet its ultimate test, has been known since those superstitious priests etched it into their sand stone temples. We warned us…if only we could be trusted…maybe we would’ve known...
The Mayans were right.
Will brother’s bonds be tempered by the approaching heat of man’s eternal damnation? Will humanity be able to resist corruption and forgo its pride or will it crumble under pressure as we bear witness to the fall of man? Join us as we embark upon a journey through man’s most magnificent cities and hell’s most ungodly corners. The fate of our world lies in the hands of four men: A feared gang leader and an unwavering public attorney from the Bronx and two, thousand year old Mayan brothers whose commitment to save humanity may doom us all. Come learn what the Mayans knew, why man’s greatest cities rise and fall, what’s the secret behind the crystal skulls, and perhaps the biggest question of all: why us?
