Writer looking for artist collaborator
I have written a couple screen plays and have a comic that an artist is already working on, I do have a couple other projects I would like to work on if any one has time, including sketches for an animated film I would like to do, a children's animated program and of course a graphic novel that I would love to work on. My favorite story tellers are, Hayao Miyazaki, Brad Bird, Sherman Alexie and Henson. I would especially love to work with any one in the Seattle area but am open to other options. This would be for a collaboration and if things run smoothly I would be happy to share story credits with artists and do most the leg work to sell the project and possibly find grants. Hope to hear from you.

Just to add
I am an older fella, about 40 who does not feel the need to discriminate art talent on an age basis however am not a big fan of the Rob Liefeld or Greg Land style of art, not dissing it just saying it does not match my writing style. The storytelling focused art of Miyazaki, Brad Bird, Gabriel Rodriguez and Clio Chiang are more what I am looking for although it’s the spirit behind the work not always the style that moves me. (The children's animated show for instance has some Klasky Csupo inspiration paired with the off kilter styling of Tom Waits.... umm if that makes any sense). I am very driven but balance that by doing my best to be a friendly, good spirited and open minded grownup. Hope to meet some likeminded people.
Thanks for reading!

Are you offering any compensation or is this just purely collaboration?

I do apologize,
It is not that I do not value what an artist brings to a project; it is that I am a fiscally poor artist myself. I am looking for someone who will be open to compensation after the project is sold or published, offering a 50/50 split on all generated income for work completed.
