Artist seeking writer for short (20) comic
Hey I'm looking for someone who would be interested in working on a short comic story maybe like one issue long to build up a portfolio. I work full time for the city so I'm hope to use any free time I get to draw these pages. I would need a summary of the story, character and environment descriptions, and then a script. If any is interested let me know. I'll put up some samples of my latest stuff when I get a chance.[/img]

I sent you a PM on Deviantart, but I'll repeat most of what I said on there.
I happen to have a bunch of comic ideas written down, but none are really short. However, one idea would be a car chase between criminals and cops through a busy city, with it starting with the criminals car leaping over a hill and ending with them getting arrested, or better yet, them landing their car in a prison yard. Heck, could be a 2 pager. Even a 1 pager. lol

qualifications
What sort of story are you looking for, what do you prefer to draw, what is the page length (is it 20? I'm not sure).

So a lot of people reply to the request which is great thank you I'm sure ill be able to find someone that can work with my style.
I should of been more specific with what I'm looking for and the type of stuff I like to draw and read.
First off I like to draw everything so there is not a big issue there even if something is unfamiliar to me I like the challenge.
As for story I prefer stuff that is more character driven
I'm open to do fiction, fantasy, sci fi, crazy mindtrippy stuff as long as the characters are easy to empathize with and have personality. It's cool to see how characters react when conflicted withunique situations and environments.
What im looking to do is a short about 20 pages or so.
If you every read Demo, like that, in demo each issue is its own story with its own characters and conflict. It's a collection of short stories in comic form some better than others.

Also I personal like martial arts I did Brazilian jiu jitsu for a number of years also tried judo and boxing. There is a manga called all rounder that I like.
So maybe with theses titles and stuffyou can get a sense of the stuff I like and if you can write something short like this I'm in.
A half dozen or so people pmed me so I'm gonna reply to everyone individually when I get a chance. I'm not looking for commission just to build up my portfolio with something cool and interesting. I don't know how fast I can turn out these pages but if its not bad maybe I can work with more than one.
