What would an artist get out of making a logo. The myth that artists would love to draw for strangers is a myth, often their love of drawing culiminates in them drawing what they want to draw, not what others want.

Put a price, maybe 20$, preferably 50-100$. Then the artists will come and given that you're doing for buisnessy things it's the best option for you anyway. The only reason writers and collaborators get away with not paying their partners is because they stand to make fame or money through their comics. What does an artist get from making someone else's logo, not anything I'm afraid.

EDIT: I agree with the post above this one. I would not do this for free, unfortunately. My computer situation suddenly got a lot worse, so I need money fast.

i understand that ry this wasnt directed toward starving artists i understand bills have to be paid "which is why i also work a job" but more or less just asking a 5 min favor of someone just killing time and i've had a couple of really cool guys reach out to help me like i knew they would.the myth that some people dont mind helping others isnt a myth.
