Hello everyone!
I'm an amateur writer looking for an artist who'd be game for drawing a webcomic or strip to be published in a blog or whatever. This would be for fun so unless you have ideas of how to monetize there's no pay.
The webcomic/strip itself would be about a Pool Boy who tries to bed as many women as possible in an exotic locale. The Pool Boy has to juggle with keeping up appearances and the fact he might be actually falling for some of the women he's playing around with.
Overall the story is over-the-top, goofy, distasteful, politically incorrect and overall a dark comedy.
As for the art style I'm looking for:
It can range anything from good girl art to anime. Anything goes if the style suits the story.
The art can be in black and white or in full color.
The women should look attractive and as a word of warning they will be put through all sorts of depravity eventually.
STORY: The protagonist (just called the Pool Boy) is new in town in an undisclosed exotic locale. He drives a van and cleans pools by day, by night he stays at his friend's hotel and hopefully beds beach babes.
Some of these beach babes are entering a surfing competition. They are close friends and highly protective of each other. Pool Boy has to charm his way to the inner circle and hopefully inside each and every woman without the friends knowing about each other!
Outside the surfers and their friends the other women in the story are either horny housewives or shy loners. The Pool Boy will have to use different approaches for each one. Some times it succeeds, other time it fails. Hopefully the readers will want to know if the Pool Boy succeeds or not.
Each strip/page will have 3 panels with a few exceptions. The project will not be taxing and pages will be published one at a time when the artist is ready. Hopefully there will be a somewhat regular schedule.

advice
When an artist applies for a job you don't take their word that they can draw. They have art samples, often complete portfolios, and you always doubt their skills if what you want is not in their portfolio. It may not look like it, but writers are held to the same standard. Write some sample scripts, outlines, or other things to promote your comic in the eyes of the artist. Sure a good pitch will get you an artist, but even if you go that route we just know that you're trying to write another least I can do. There's no specifics here or at least none that stand out. Something I do now before I recruit anyone is that I write a story bible detailing the major details of my world, characters, and of course sample or finished script. The more you show us what you can do the better the chance what you'll get will meet your skill level.
