Anyway, I launched an online coloring course back in May of 2014, and I recently added a bunch of stuff to it. It's now about ten hours of real-time Photoshop comic coloring tutorials full of tips, tricks, shortcuts, and techniques--basically a ton of stuff I wish someone told me when I first started and stuff I've figured out since.
There's a big focus on storytelling as it relates to color which I've found to be lacking in a lot of coloring tutorial videos online. It's really the most important thing about coloring a comic. You can render like da Vinci, but if the pages don't read, then it doesn't work.
Anyway, you can check it out here. There are two free lessons you can try first: one on color theory and another on flatting. No credit card or Paypal or anything required for that. Just create an account. This version is downloadable, and there's another that's streaming only.
