THANKS EVERYONE BUT I'VE FOUND THE ARTISTS I NEED FOR THIS PROJECT.

I am a published short story writer and journalist who needs two or three artists for a b&w self-published comic anthology.

I've been published in Alfred Hitchck Mystery Magazine, Shotgun Honey, Over My Dead Body magazine, AFAR, Van Winkles, etc. I know the freelance/work for hire life, and payment for your work will be full and prompt (given agreed upon terms).

I can offer reasonable page rates, in a range from $40-75/page for pencils/inks/grayscale, depending on quality/difficulty of work. Ie. $320-$600 for 8pgs. Paid in installments (on acceptance of contract, approval of sketches, completed work).

You must be able to draw people of color and real women (not hyper-sexualized) and people in normal street clothes. And no homophobes, racists, misogynists, please.

I need these, if possible, on a RUSH basis: I'd like to print a short run for giveaway to comics professionals at New York City Comic Con, October 8. You'll also get copies to use in your own con appearances, give to friends, whatever.

The stories:

1. A crime, noir comic. After a simple bank job leaves the golden son of a crime-Lord dead, his girlfriend is told to find the leak, or she'll end up in a box beside her man. Main characters are a young couple, white, and an older mob-boss type. Style: dark, moody. Think HIT, Criminal, etc.

2. A riff on the superhero genre. Rapid development in China has come with a terrible cost for Pei, a former gymnast forced to abandon her Olympic dreams after a horrific accident. And her best friend is dead. She can use her friend's tech toys to find the man responsible, but is it justice, or vengeance she wants? Main character is a bit of a Spider-Man/Gwen type physically and action scene-wise. All the characters are Chinese.

3. A superhero/dimensional travel story with a buddy-cop vibe. Multiracial cast of characters, including a black mad scientist, two white, g@y hipster-types (i have a very specific look for these) and a crazy supervillain. Maybe a robot? Giant sentient sea monster? Up to you.
