Hi you people,
I'm new here. I found this page through my work for a specialist area work (don't know if there's an English term for that kind of work, gotta write a minimum of 50 pages) about comics and their acknowledgment
as art.
However, hope to read and lead interesting and spirit-rich conversations here!
Cheers,
David

Howdy.
Here is a "comics as literature" thesis project that was offered up in this forum by Lou Prosperia.

Your "Comics as art" work sounds like an excellent compliment.

I had not enough time to read everything of the "comic as literature" work, but I'm looking forward to complete my read tonight.

Well, I really enjoy reading some comics (I began with MAUS... or was ist Mickey Mouse?). But I don't think that just stating that comics would be art must be a compliment.
IMO the term art doesn't say anything's about its quality. There's enough junk art IMO, art that doesn't "speak" to me. But it's still art.
