Looking for full-color webcomic artist(s)

Post by jjstamm »

I am looking to create two ongoing webcomics and am in need of an artist who would get half the credit and half of any money brought in through ad sales or any merchandise that uses your artwork. The artistic style I am looking for is that of Goblins, Least I Could Do (LICD), or A Skewed Paradise (ASP).

The first webcomic will be a comic based on the everyday life of an artist with a fantasy subgenre. I'm planning a newspaper-style, 4-panel strip (see LICD). I'd like it to update daily Monday-Friday, but I'm willing to negotiate down to 2 updates a week, if you don't think you can update so frequently.

The second webcomic is an epic fantasy webcomic about a group of mages. It's planned as a comic book-style with varying numbers and shapes of panels (see ASP #153 or before). You should be able to draw a magical fight scene comfortably. Also, knowledge of Neverwinter Nights would be useful, but not required (I have some game jokes in the comic, but they're not frequent enough to make it awkward if you don't know the game). I'd like to update once or twice a week, depending on how quickly you can get it internet ready.

Please send a sample of your work to jjstamm.attic@gmail.com if you are interested in either or both of these webcomics.
