Panel 1
Lance is pulling the child along hurriedly.
Narrator: Things didn't go quite as planned, though.
Panel 2
Close up on the child's face; he is clearly anxious.
Narrator: The kid was there when I arrived. I didn't know what to do with him. He seemed scared. I had to help him.
Panel 3:
Lance has his gun out, now. He is hiding at the corner of the wall.
Narrator: We were almost out of there. We'd almost made it.
Panel 4:
We see an alley; at the end of it are two shadows.
Narrator: That's when I saw the two punks.
Panel 5:
Back to Lance, now. He is frustrated.
Lance: Shit!
Narrator: I had to deal with them, somehow.
Panel 6:
Lance is gesturing for the kid to crouch down behind a dust bin.
Lance: Wait here. Do not go anywhere, you hear me?
The child doesn't respond.
Narrator: If only he'd listened.

Is this the sort of thing you're looking for? This was actually quite a pleasure to write. I'd enjoy doing more like this, if you're interested.

those characters were thought up by someone else, so i may not take it any further. can you help me with a different project, that's about some vigilantes that chase criminals?

I'd love to! I've been contacted by another artist, so I can't promise I'll be around forever, but I'd be more than willing to help out however I can!
Email me at joey.boey1@gmail.com with a few more details about the story and what you want me to do, and I'll see what I can do

Hmm, that depends. My timezone is GMT-8, so I usually won't be on before 9AM or after 9PM GMT - 8, but other then that it'll be hit-or-miss.
If you have a Skype, we could tell when the other person is online.

i'm guessing that you're on PST, like i am, which should make it easier to coordinate a meeting. how about 11:30, 12:00noon?

Yes, PST. I can try that, but my schedule fluctuates rapidly so it's not always certain when I'll be available. I'll try to be online then. But how to meet? Here, email, Skype?

Yes, I can talk now, and for about two hours (until around 12:30 - then I'll be gone for at least half an hour) However, I may not be able to give this my full attention as I have some things to work on.

Do you want to email me (joey.boey1@gmail.com), Skype IM me (CaptainLepidus) or just use this topic or PMs?

If you are still looking for a writer, I'd love to give it a shot. I'm a big fan of the Filme Noir. I've also studied it quite a bit genre and I'm currently working on a script as we speak. Feel free to contact me by email if you would like to talk some more about the project. twistedimage75@gmail.com
