Artist Needed For 7 Page Comic (Paid Job)

Salutations, fellow mind dwellers,

I have a proposition for one talented sir (or madam), for essentially, free publication. But first, I'll introduce you to myself. My name is Davyd Jennings, and I'm the proud holder of two writing awards; the first being a nonfiction, public presentation at Marylhurst University of Portland Oregon, in which I was awarded 1st place for an autobiographical essay about childhood toys and memories linked to said items. The second is perhaps less exciting, for it was a horror-fiction contest of Halloween, in which I gladly accepted 1st place for a story titled “Unearthed”, which played on the concept of time, and our rather poor perception of it. Currently, I'm an honors student, on my way towards an English major; Philosophy being my minor, and I'm seeking further publication, but through a medium I deeply love; comics, if you will.

There you have it, that's a bit about me, and enough about me. Now, as for this free publication, I was thankfully accepted to participate in an anthology, titled Gods & Cattle. In the early stages of the comic, the artist I had paired myself with was working fairly hard to complete the comic, but about halfway through the process, she unexpectedly abandoned the project; in other words, threw me under the bus, and the time I had wasted depending on her could have, without question been fostered into the efforts of a more dependable artist. That is why I am here today. I have room for one artist, 7 pages of potential sequential imagery, and a thirty-page, fully completed and premeditated script. I have anything, and everything at your disposal, if you so choose to join me in this partnership. This is a paying job, and at the very least, weight to one's resume.

Project Details

~Seven pages, black and white, inked work. Unfortunately, it is not in color, but for those of you who specialize in ink-work, or graphite linears, this is right up your alley.

~A letterer is on board for this project, so no need to concern yourself with that. Your job will be illustrating.

~Each individual will receive 1% per page that they create. So say we sell 1000 books at 14.99, and 4.99 goes to overheads, then that leaves roughly 10,000.00 pounds. Say a creative team creates 5 pages then that's 5 per cent equaling 500.00 pay that they make. We have 7 pages...

I need to see artwork, and no, I'm not asking for the most glorious artist that hath ever graced the earth, but I am looking for someone to compliment the story's presentation.
