You're going to have to realize that the reason most of the higher end artists charge for their services is because artists are GREATLY in demand at this point. I find that an experienced and skilled writer is also in demand, but you're going to have to prove your skill. For me I generally reference my past works (Still unpublished but proof at least that I've worked in the medium before and have some degree of skill) when looking for artists to work with (I don't consider myself good enough to charge yet). I recommend that you do the same, but realize that you're going to have to be really desirable in order to gain a buyer. If you had been published before it may have been different, but you may have to settle for working for free.

I perfectly understand what you are trying to tell me. I defenitely agree that artist are in higher demand since they sould be able to come with and idea of a story too. You did indeed crush my ego. . Thank you though .you have my respect. I WILL WRITE FOR FREE NOW
