If you are a digital artist then all the pencil parts will be done digitally

Hi! So just a fair warning this is a long post; however I do assure you it will be WORTH the read. (This is not a paid project, it is a joint project and if profit is made from it then the profit will be shared) [“page” in comic terms = “strip” (duh)]
My name is Nic Wryte. I am the writer/author to a webcomic entitled “Age Of Chaos: Depths of the Past” which can be found here = http://aoc-depthsofthepast.smackjeeves.com/ (main website); here http://tapastic.com/series/aoc-depthsofthepast (bigger resolution) and here = http://aoc-depthsofthepast.thecomicseries.com/(alternative site)
Right now, this webcomic updates weekly though the date of when the updates occur is sporadic due to me being in school and working (I will announce in twitter, and facebook though when I do update or plan to update). I also do try to do updates around a week from the last update.
Yuishizu my previous main artist can no longer draw for or work on the webcomic due to career, educational, and parental issues. So I need someone to take over her position. Chapter 1 has been fully drawn and have about 4-5 pages to go so it should be done by the end of February. Chapter 2 is what I need to get working on with a new artist(potentially you) if I plan on still continuing this webcomic which I still do.
Now I am skilled I mean I can do BWlineart, flat coloring, and basic CSS coding (I take care of all site issues) BUT I cannot draw well (seriously). Samples of Nic's literature = http://www.writerscafe.org/nicwryte
So here is where you come in! If you can do pencilling & shading and want to work on an epic webcomic that updates once a week or once every 2 weeks then this is for you!
What is this epic webcomic about though? Well it’s a tale about ASSASSINS! The story goes like this: After the Great War, assassins became endangered for the information they hold & their ability to kill. Now that peace has been established, these assassin guilds that were once a necessity during the war are now a threat. The assassins fled to the cursed country, Luna, where the climate protected them from their enemies. They started rebuilding their community once again. The Novice Village where our webcomic begins is as the name states, the starting point for every assassin. A young boy named Nemesis is about to go on his journey to become an assassin. Along the way he'll meet friends, fellow assassins-to-be, & face a lot of challenges. What's more is that there are around 25 different kinds of races(http://tinyurl.com/le5dlke) & tons of interesting creatures featured in the webcomic(http://tinyurl.com/mlzpb74)
If the summary above has caught your eye and you think you could be an artist for this webcomic then please read on! If you don’t then just go here http://aoc-depthsofthepast.smackjeeves.com/ and have fun reading the webcomic! ^___^
This webcomic will either be in color or in black & white; the choice is yours! (yes the choice is yours please read on…)
Webcomic strip sample:

Process on How the Webcomic Strips are Made:
1. I will send you the manuscript of the chapter or the page/strip if it’s done (if it is not done then you just get a summary from me sorry I don’t have everything final but there is a reason to that which you will find out soon)
2. I will also be sending you a draft of what I think the strip we will be working on should contain.
3. Then you will be emailing me the earliest dates and times when you are free.
4. I will then email you back with dates and times when I am free.
5. Once we get to agree on a date we discuss our ideas on how we want to relay this strip and what we think of the direction of the story so far over skype (this is why nothing is final).
6. Then once this is set you will have already drawn a rough outline of the strip.
7. You will then send this to me and I will give you the go signal to start pencilling.
Note: Sometimes I will draw on Photoshop and show you my screen or email you the files to clarify things (though I suck at drawing so bear with me); other times you will get it right away.
8. Once pencilling is done you send it over to me
9. Then if I don’t have any problems with the pencilled page I give the go button for inking! With inking, the black and white lineart can be done by either you or me. If you do not like to do it then please make your pencilling clear enough so I can trace and lineart the page well.
10. If you decide that we will do a colored webcomic then depending if you know how to color or not then we will decide on who will color. If you don’t know how to color but want a colored webcomic then once I have done the flat coloring (each colored part will be separated into labelled layers) please indicate where the shaded areas are supposed to be and I will shade it thus finishing the blank strip! (I cannot for the hell of me determine what area to shade T___T it’s sad I know I hope to learn one day)
11. If you decide that we will do a black and white webcomic then you will then do the black and white shading (I don’t know how to do black and white shading) thus finishing the blank strip!
Note: A blank strip is basically a strip without dialogue.
12. Once we are happy with the blank strip, we will then add in the dialogue.
13. If there are no other further corrections and we are both happy with how the page turned out then we add in the page avatars on top.
Note: The page avatars are basically chibi representations of whoever made the strip (we will be working with another artist named Torus – he is our backup artist; so it will either be chibis of Torus and I, or of me and you, or of us 3) The page avatars’ actions will relate to the strip(and most likely the page avatars will be pencilled then linearted and shaded (BW or colored); or digitally drawn then shaded (BW or colored) & added into the strip by the artist if he or she possesses a graphic tablet)
14. Once the avatars are done we will then add in their dialogue. Their dialogue is mostly just our own comments on the strip. This basically is just a fun original addition we have to the strip – it shows readers how we feel about the strip and also indicates to them how the strip should be read(right to left or left to right)
15. Once we are both happy on how everything turned out then we will add the finished strip onto the buffer. YAY! Ideally we would like to have a buffer of at least 3 pages before putting anything up on the site but this cannot always be the case because things happen so we will just try to have a 3 page buffer.
Note: Buffers are basically a number of pages ready to go – depending on how many pages the buffer contains the more days we can slack though mostly this is used to cover in case of emergencies
Overall Notes on the 15 step process:
1. Chapter cover pages have to be coloured.
2. Speak and think bubbles that will contain the dialogue can be hand drawn (pencilled by you) or we will Photoshop them into the strip whichever is preferable.
3. Colored strips will take a longer time to create and Black & White strips will be faster (duh).
4. Yes you will be able to add your own characters into the story and yes your opinions/comments will be taken into consideration (I am easy to talk to, if it’s not a big change most likely I will agree).
5. I want this to be a joint project so your thoughts are definitely welcomed!
6. Nothing on this 15 step process is final. We most likely will change things up and sometimes we don’t even do this in order. Seriously, this is just to give you an idea of how the strips are mostly done in the webcomic.
7. YES THERE WILL BE DEADLINES but we will talk about the deadlines and set ones we can agree on.
