Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a artist for a comic book I am writting.
Pending Title:Gaslight
Genre: Steampunk/Cyberpunk/Horror/Super Hero
A war has started on a galactic scale and all named Super-beings and forces are called to help. Our Hero and 3 others are named to help and must leave there home/wife/and children. Leaving the the uncalled heroes and super beings to take there place in protecting the city in there absence. (Not much subject on actual war. the story takes place upon return.) A substantial amount of time goes by fighting the war. Our hero returns to his city only to find a war has been fought and his city lost. the people living in the city say that its main heroes that once kept them safe are now gone with out a trace.(they cant know of the galactic war) feeling as if there heroes have turned there back on them, they do the same on the heroes...

Thank you. After posing that i didn't want to come off as an a'hole lol. i will update my post thanks for your input.emocort wrote:hey there, generally on this forum you really need to sell yourself and your story, you need to at least write a synopsis or even show some of your script to get someone's attention.
As soon as you say "back end %" or "unpaid" all most everyone ignores it because we've seen too many postings like this and a lot of us including myself have been burned (badly) by working for people for essentially nothing.
your original posting didn't give off the sense that you are excited about your project and if you aren't excited about it then no one else will be either. I would suggest posting some or all of your script and or a great outline to get people excited and want to work with/for you. if it comes across as totally awesome artists may not care that there's no upfront money cause they know it will sell in the end.
