Looking for an artist. (Shared Paid)

Post by shanepou »

What I mean by shared paid is that when we publish it we'll share the money. I'm thinking of making it into a webcomic that way it's easier for us to control and publish. I would like this to turn into a manga and eventually an anime if it comes to that. I would do some of the drawings too so I'll be working harder than you. I'll do the writing and the example drawings so you get an idea of what I want. My drawings are bad so you'll do the final drawings.

I gotten chapters written down so it's ready to go. Sorry I can't paid right now, I got into a car crash and can't work. But once I can and start saving money again, I can start paying you. And don't worry, I'll be working harder than you as I am also doing the drawings too.

I'm looking for a partner for this project.

You do the final drawings. I just draw to give you an idea of what I want. So when we post it, it'll be your drawings. So it's all the same drawings. Mine is just to show you if you need me to show you.

Essentially what I think he's saying that he'd do roughs for placement and sample designs for the characters to keep the artist's vision in line with his own. Not a bad idea if I should say so myself but the post is...lacking. We need to know about your idea! Tell us "EVERYTHING" you can without making it monumental to get through, and focuses on aspects of your piece that would tread new ground or are otherwise strong. Simply saying "I have this story in this genre" is not enough, we need to know! Cause no offense but most artists are far too lazy to e-mail you or message you for details. Your time is now.
