Creative and adaptable artist wanted for a long term project

Post by Arya »

Hi Creatives.

I am seriously searching for a story board artist to work in my new Project. I have two team working from uk for the script.

Creative and adaptable artist wanted for a long term project – an animation script that requires creative flair and the ability to keep consistent style over a continuous basis. Artist should be familiar with such designs as Disney and able to encapsulate emotion, feeling and humor into their work. You will be working with a team of creative professionals and closely with the head artist and company owner. The ability to communicate regularly through Skype/phone/email is required as this will be a remote position. The artist is required to help develop ingenious ideas that make people smile. Whether you're a storyboard artist who conveys the essence of a storyline to create action or a visual development artist who explores character design for animated films, the strongest requirements aside from experience are imagination, the ability to adapt to the project style and a strong work ethic. Please find attached a sample of the animation style and a script excerpt to give context.

here is a sample script of the project, it is A JOURNEY THROUGH A HISTORY.

An English girl in age of 8 with her companian go a journey though the history where they meet all the king and queens and mythological heroes and on.

Once with the sellection mod artist I send you more inputs on the project.

a simple outline on the project;

Girl is the curiosity of a man who lives in a library with all sort of questions with her. her companian is the inteligence of a man that one gains through all his experience,is an imagination of the girl and he takes her a journey through the history along with her finding answers to all her curiosity.

Content : 2 minutes
Style: snappy and humor
Episodes: 100 but We start with 25 episodes and Adnveture all it needs be

Here is a part of the script for you understanding

A Journey Through History

A Journey Through History

INT. MAGESTIC LIBRARY - NIGHT

Floor-to-ceiling books, The shelves go up so high that you can't see the top. Little benches line the bottom shelves.

A little girl is sneaking around the library, examining the shelves with a little candle, but also being very careful not to run into anyone who might happen to be in a dark library at night. She is about 8 years old, very cute and smart, and a vagabond, dressed with a torn skirt over a pair of old jeans, and a neatly patched jacket over another jacket. This is JENNY.

Suddenly, she hears the unmistakable sound of a footstep. She quickly blows out her candle and scrambles away. All is silent for a moment. She takes a risk and lights a match again. When the flame rises up, suddenly, in front of her, there is a tall stranger's belly. Her eyes move up and there is a big face above her, looking down. She screams. He screams. They both scramble away. Silence for a moment.
JENNY
What are you doing?

THEODORE
Sneaking around in an empty library. What are you doing?

Both are slowly sneaking out of their corners. JENNY lights the match again and the STRANGER finds and gives her the candle.

JENNY
(Pause.) Looking for a book.

THEODORE
No, you're not. You're looking for a story.

JENNY
(Squints at stranger)

THEODORE
A story is what is beyond all the useless words in a book. Sometimes people get it right, and sometimes they just make it dull and boring. For example...

He takes her hand. They seem to get sucked away in a flash

A JOURNEY TO BEGIN WITH YOU

Page rates? I'll tell you this, for most things long term it's very difficult to attract someone without pay or some promise of pay in the future.

Also there are some typos in your piece, are you perhaps not native English speakers?

are you character concept artist or a story boarding artist?
and finally, are you asking me the rates I would pay?
*If these are what you were trying ask me, you could have asked them very simply. lol

He is, as many of us are here, comic book artist. It seems you are speaking about some kind of animated cartoon.

Hi Paxton.

Of course, yes. It is said in the description.

* a storyline to create action or a visual development artist who explores character design for animated films.

Wether it is a comic or an animated content the base is same, to go to the production we do ' story boarding '

Yes, and that is why we all want to know what is the amount you are ready to pay per page and also how many pages we would create.
Difference between comic book and storyboard is that comic book is based on the strict scrip with exact number of pages while storyboard depends on longevity of future animated film.

I understand, and talking of the animation story boarding, we work with frames where we show the sequences not exactly like a page, and with the frames we would make the animatics.

And of course we can talk of the differentiation of comic and animation and all the technical terms but at the end it is not going to help you or me.

You can quote what you charge for a page and send your work link and if your work impresses we can talk all of these technical terms.

This is fake guys. I got an email from the OP and it had the very same content word for word. I found it odd so I checked the website and all of that on one of those pages that give you all of the info on any site and everything came back blank and full of errors.

Beware!

Hello zuperkrypto

What did you mean by 'I got an email from OP' and you sound rediculous lol.
If you like to work you can quote the price and we would check your work if it impresses we would send our bench mark designs we have done and we can talk of the project in details And please don't try to fool someone's opportunity, we all are artists.

Good luck

No one can understand what you are saying and I did receive an email with the same thing that you posted here, word for word. A few people have asked you very basic questions and you won't answer them. What's everyone supposed to think?

If you have trouble with the language just say so but even then, how is anyone supposed to communicate with you if there is a language barrier?

If you have posted here saying you are available to work, my people would have approached you, what is wrong in it? You have posted here looking for some jobs right? Then if someone approaches you, you can respond to them and talk of the project if you are interested. It is simple, you look seriously intelligent, and your posts look really funny and this would be my last respond to you and I am here searching the artists for the project, not obviously it is not you, grow up
