Tycho called this morning and we had a long, friendly discussion about a variety of topics. I don't think this one's going to escalate. As I suspected, he's just a good guy under a lot of pressure -- a description that would fit a lot of us, I think.

Glad to hear it, Scott. It's always good to see these things worked out before they get too far out of hand (as interesting as they can sometimes be when they do get out of hand, they're usually more destructive than entertaining).
Steven Grant had some excellent points on the subject of creator feuds in his <A HREF="http://www.comicbookresources.com/colum ... ><I>Master of the Obvious</I> column back in May</A>. This seems like a good opportunity to point anybody who hasn't read it in that direction.

Scott I am glade that you did'nt over react to his strip ...He seems like a very cool guy the few times I have talked to him.. but shoots the gun when a subject hits home. I personaly found your thoughts to hit home and I wish there was a better buisness structure for micropayments..I for one would lik to see someone like Kurtz more porductive. Anyways keep em coming I enjoyed your last rant..
