Preferred script format

Post by Cole »

Hi everyone! I'm somewhat new to comic book writing, and was wondering if there is any particular format that you guys prefer. Or even find particularly useful.

At this moment I am using a default format provided by Celtx. But the version my computer can support, only has a few format options. One for novel writing, one for audio visual, one for comic book writing, and one for screen writing.

Have a look here:

There are a bunch of samples scripts by different writers. My preference is the Comics Experience template, as I feel the layout is clean and tidy and easy to follow.

Also, the Dark Horse submissions page has a preferred submission style guide which they like submitting writers to use.
