hey scott: in the list of upcoming titles 'Stop Shooting Me!' is listed with 159 votes - but twice. once where it belongs and once as second last... (sorry for posting this here, but didn't know where else to post it.)

What do you got against "The King of Underground Comix"? Or am I misinterpretting what you're saying here? I worship the guy, even though he's a lefty malcontent.
No, I like Crumb's work - what I can get my cashless, decent-library-less hands on, anyway. I'm just saying that a Crumb fan has no business dissing Dave Sim for misogyny. I mean, Crumb's comics are awash (heh) with sexual frustration and frightened misogyny that Crumb readily acknowledges.
By the way, Scott, I love the endearing joke, "I don't know nothin' about basketball." At this rate, if you ever publish these in dead-tree, you'll have to include our forums to make sense of it all.
I'll accept my royalties in boxes of chocolate ex-lax.

I agree. Today's panels had me rolling of the floor. "What a season?" Haw, haw, haw, haw, haw! Now, that's funny.
I wonder who he hates more: Bush or Boone?
But shouldn't it be "Sawks"?
Decaf: Now I get what you're saying. Yeah. Crumb is a sick bastid. That's why I love him.
Can't get enough of that Exlax, can ya?

With Ex-Lax, the good times are a-flowin'. Hmm, sounds like a Prairie Home Companion ketchup commercial.
What in the world is "Bwoston?"
(The above was rhetorical. I am a cognizant primate. I'm merely pointing out that "Bwoston" does not seem to fit the accent.)

I've had the impression throughout this story that she's from somewhere in the New York area, and has some sort of speech impediment; hence "Bwoston"
Ex-Lax always reminds be of the Chief Bowels joke. "Bowels must move. Teepee full of shit."

Wouldn't that be a bitch of cosmic irony? A guy dies from smoking too much, and he winds up as ashes.
I wonder if he smoked Mwa'lbworos. Red Pack'll kill before yer old.

I dunno, I prefer those Lucky Strikes. But ever since they traded Butts to the VA Slims team, I've been uneasy. It's been a bad season for the Strikes.

I really liked the 4 panel treatment of yesterday's post. Dividing the background and linking the speech bubbles across the 4 panels. Nice.
That's the kind of layout I really need to work toward being able to visualize for my own work.
Thanks for the lesson Scott!

Yeah, Scott's gone all Will Eisner on us; giving us a clinic on storytelling and pacing, with split panoramas and shifting the viewpoints on the far shots. Now, all we need is a meta-panel page, and some super-panels.

"My stuff got taken last night."
Hmm...'twould appear that we might be on the verge of solving the mystery of the Dunkin' Donuts sack.
