Hello. My name is Gerry Kissell. I have been a commercial artist and illustrator for over 22 years. In 2010, IDW's senior writer, Tom Waltz, talked me into leaving my art career in advertising to do comics. I began by working on
The A-Team: War Stories for IDW and 20th Century Fox and
Army of Two for IDW and EA Games. Since then I have stayed busy doing comics; pencils, inks and colors, I am proficient at all of it. Included in my retinue of work was helping Remedy Entertainment develop (as well as) draw Xbox's
Alan Wake graphic novel, and for Blind Spot Pictures and IDW I did the movie tie-in comic for the hit sci-fi film
Iron Sky. Last fall I created, and illustrated IDW's best selling graphic novel
Code Word: Geronimo. Most recently I completed a ten page comic called
Tuebor, for Strength In Numbers Studios.

Here is the new Doctor Who pin-up I just created. I penciled, inked and colored it.
